Weetabix Wildcats sessions normally happen after school or at the weekend. They take place once a week and last for around an hour.

Sessions focus on developing your child’s fundamental movement skills – agility, balance, coordination and speed – required not only for football but for all sports.

Girls will learn new football skills, make brilliant friendships and have fun together.

Each session kicks off with a team talk, introducing any children who are new to Weetabix Wildcats and explaining what the session will involve.

Then it’s time for the fun to begin.

Football skills are incorporated into themed games and activities. Some of the children’s favourite themes include pirates, jungle animals and superheroes – this also helps to engage your child’s imagination and develop their creativity.

Fun ARE the rules of Wildcats

At Wildcats we are committed to giving girls their opportunity to learn football skills and be part of a team in a fun, positive learning environment.

We use Wildcats as a platform for confidence and to graduate into teams at Langtoft United whether they are new teams or established teams.

We are looking for volunteers too to help with sessions so we encourage parents to come and get involved in sessions with the coaches and hopefully you will get a taste for coaching girls football too..

Wildcats coaches are kind, fun and positive. The coaches are there to help develop confidence and to help each player learn new skills.

The main rule at our Wildcats Centre is that everyone has fun and finishes each session with a smile on their faces and to know they have learned a new skill or even found a new friend.
